Striking a Chord follows the touching story of a group of ukulele players who came together through the Hollyhill Library in Cork City and their determination to keep the group going despite the challenges of Covid-19. The Making of ‘ City in Flames’ follows the making of a CD called ‘City in Flames’ written by John Murphy and coordinated by John O’Leary. It’s a story about our local history but also looks into the fighting spirit of creating these significant songs against all odds including the backdrop of Covid-19 and other struggles in producing the CD and bringing it to the stage for a live performance.
